LIttle Luxuries

You'd have to be holed up in a cave on a deserted island to be oblivious to the difficult economic conditions we're all experiencing. Surprisingly, though there are still a few bright spots in an otherwise gloomy economy. People (and companies for that matter) are still spending on little luxuries especially those that make them feel a little better. We think chair massage is more of a necessity than a luxury but we're not going to quibble about semantics.

Cultivating Compassion

I don't really make New Year's resolutions any more. I just personally haven't had much luck with them in the past. I do however, find that the holiday break usually affords me some time and space for introspection. This year I has some time to think about the power of compassion and how easy it is to forget how connected we are with others that share this planet with us. I'm going to make cultivating compassion one of my goals this year.
